Emma è in seconda media. Da un po’ di tempo pare che intorno a lei si sia creato il deserto. Il gruppo che impersonerà le dee dell’Olimpo alla sfilata di carnevale l’ha gentilmente esclusa. Sulla “lista dei segreti spacciati”, che ogni tanto viene misteriosamente trovata nell’armadio di classe, è apparsa la scritta: “Emma della seconda E finirà nel gruppo RPS”. Recupero, potenziamento, sostegno: è di questo che ha bisogno, Emma? “Sono diventata stupida” pensa. Ma non vero: le sue difficoltà hanno origine, molto semplicemente, da un disturbo comune a tantissimi ragazzi, la dislessia. Però, pensa Emma, non è il caso di parlarne in famiglia.
